Position Details:

• Title: Controls Specialist – BAS Controls
• Location: San Diego, CA
• Compensation: $40–$55/hour (DOE) + Bonus
• Status: Full-Time

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience in BAS Programming (Script/Line or Block/Graphical)
• Preferred: Tridium Niagara integration experience
• Strong technical understanding of controls projects and software systems

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and upload BAS applications per schematics and SOPs
• Write or revise Sequences of Operation
• Database configuration and deployment
• Integrate third-party systems (BACnet, Modbus, LON, etc.)
• Program in either Script or Function Block (both utilized)
• Configure and integrate with various BAS control platforms
• Remote VPN access for customer support and maintenance
• Create trends, alarms, and dashboards for BAS systems
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineering team
• Support commissioning and equipment start-up in the field
• Assist technicians and support system close-out
