Position Details:

• Title: Controls Project Engineer
• Location: San Diego, CA
• Compensation: $75,000–$100,000 (based on experience) + Bonus
• Status: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Project Managers across all phases of BAS/controls projects
• Develop and maintain schedules, budgets, and project documentation
• Review DDC shop drawings and submittals for compliance with design specs
• Handle submittals, RFIs, and change orders with Mechanical PMs and clients
• Collaborate with vendors and assist in materials procurement

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience in building automation or controls project engineering
• Strong attention to detail in document control and specification review
• Excellent coordination and communication skills
• Familiarity with HVAC controls and mechanical project environments
