Sr. BAS Installer – Bellingham, WA – $40–$50/hr + Bonus + Company Vehicle + National Mechanical Contractor

About the Opportunity:

A leading national mechanical contractor is hiring a Sr. BAS Installer for its Bellingham, WA operations. This is a hands-on field role supporting large-scale Building Automation System (BAS) installations in the commercial, education, healthcare, and data center sectors. Ideal candidates will hold a Washington State 06 Low Voltage License and have experience running conduit, wiring, and working with control systems.

• Title: Sr. BAS Installer

• Status: Full-Time | Field-Based

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly Pay: $40.00 – $50.00/hr (DOE)
• Bonus: 2.5% Annual Incentive

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and connect low-voltage wiring and BAS equipment per project plans and code requirements
• Run conduit and pull wire through walls or tubing to complete circuits
• Test and verify BAS system functionality using diagnostic tools and devices
• Create field sketches/blueprints and contribute to as-built documentation
• Coordinate scheduling of deliveries, equipment, and install materials to job sites
• Work closely with project managers and attend installation coordination meetings
• May oversee installation teams on larger projects

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience in BAS, HVAC Controls, or similar electrical system installation
• Holds a current WA State 06 Low Voltage Electrical License (Required)
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safe installation practices
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Willingness to travel occasionally to Northern OR or Northern CA (15–20%)
