About the Opportunity:
An established and respected security and life safety systems provider is seeking an Operations Manager to lead their service department in the Greater New York City area. This is a key leadership role overseeing field operations, project planning, and client engagement for a variety of commercial and residential projects.

- Competitive salary: $100,000–$150,000 (DOE)

Responsibilities:
- Oversee scheduling and dispatching of field technicians to ensure efficient and timely service delivery
- Plan and lay out new projects, coordinating timelines, resources, and personnel
- Manage and coordinate routine maintenance inspections, repair work, and execution of new projects
- Collaborate closely with the service coordinator and internal staff to ensure smooth departmental operations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, engineers, manufacturers, and supply houses
- Source and secure necessary materials and equipment for service work and projects
- Generate accurate and competitive service proposals and estimates
- Monitor and manage the day-to-day operations of the service department to ensure productivity and quality standards are met
- Ensure clear communication and alignment across all stakeholders involved in service activities
- Support continuous improvement efforts within the service department, including process efficiency and customer satisfaction
Ideal Candidate:
- 5–10 years of leadership experience within the fire life safety or security industry
- Minimum of five years’ experience in the design and installation of electronic security systems
- Strong understanding of job financial reports and cost containment strategies
- Proven ability to manage teams, projects, and client relationships effectively
