A well-established and growing security integrator in the Greater Minneapolis area is seeking a skilled Security Installation Technician to join their team. Responsibilities:

• Install cabling and electronic equipment at commercial and industrial sites
• Commission, test, and troubleshoot systems to ensure proper functionality
• Assist with the wiring, installation, and setup of electronic security systems including CCTV, access control, alarms, and intercoms
• Update project documentation using web-based tools
• Liaise with clients on-site to provide updates and resolve issues
• Coordinate with Project Manager and Administrator to support overall project execution
• Network design and troubleshooting
• Relay programming logic
• Install and support analog and IP video systems
• Configure and maintain both cloud-based and traditional access control systems

Desired Skills & Credentials:

• Prior experience as an installation technician or similar role within the security industry
• Power Limited Technician (PLT) license or Registered Unlicensed PLT Technician (preferred)
• Honeywell Security Alarm experience (preferred)
• Knowledge of door hardware (strikes, mag-locks, power door operators, etc.)
