About the Opportunity:
A highly regarded Building Automation and Energy Management company is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer/Programmer to join its growing team in Baltimore, MD. This role offers excellent compensation, benefits, and the chance to work on challenging and impactful projects across the DMV region.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly Rate: $45.00 – $65.00/hr. (DOE)
- End-of-year bonus based on company performance and individual contribution
- Sign-on bonus up to $4,000

Responsibilities:
- Program custom applications from scratch or using standard libraries
- Lead and develop detailed automation designs and prepare for submittals
- Integrate and program controls with third-party BAS systems
- Develop and modify programming on existing systems
- Interpret mechanical/control drawings, sequence of operations, and commission systems
- Create and develop intuitive front-end graphics for users
- Test inputs/outputs for calibration and proper operation
- Install and troubleshoot site workstations, networks, and associated equipment
- Provide end-user training and ongoing remote/on-site support
- Mentor and help develop junior BAS technicians
Ideal Candidate:
- Prior experience as a Controls Engineer/Programmer or similar role
- Proficiency with Tridium, Delta, and N4 (certifications a plus)
- Ability to lead technical projects and work independently as well as in a team
- Willingness to work nights when needed and pass federal government clearance
