Position Details:

• Title: BAS Application Engineer
• Location: Edina, MN (Hybrid – 3 days office, 2 days remote)
• Compensation: $85,000 – $110,000 (DOE)

Responsibilities:

• Engineer BAS control sequences and create BAS applications.
• Program equipment controllers per specified sequences of operation.
• Design submittals, wiring diagrams, and control schematics.
• Integrate BAS networks using BACnet and Modbus protocols.
• Support remote system startups and commissioning activities.
• Test and validate new building automation technologies.
• Interpret MEP blueprints to design scalable BAS solutions.
• Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and application support.

Ideal Candidate:

• 5+ years’ experience in Commercial BAS systems.
• Niagara N4 certification strongly preferred.
• Experience programming controllers from scratch and writing/revising sequences.
• Proficiency in BACnet, Modbus, and integration of legacy BAS systems.
• Ability to read/interpret Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing drawings.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in team and customer settings.
• Based in the Twin Cities metro area with ability to be in office weekly.
