Position Details:

• Title: Controls Project Manager
• Location: Minneapolis, MN (in-office at least 4 days/week)
• Compensation: $90,000 – $110,000 + discretionary bonus
• Travel: Up to 10%

Responsibilities:

• Oversee client engagement including product selection, budgeting, coordination, and logistics.
• Manage scope, schedule, and financials for controls projects from kickoff to completion.
• Coordinate with stakeholders: building owners, engineers, subcontractors, manufacturers, and vendors.
• Plan, track, and report project timelines, milestones, and progress updates.
• Prepare and manage change orders as needed.
• Negotiate labor pricing and oversee site assignments.
• Ensure project profitability while maintaining high-quality standards.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience as a Controls Project Manager or in a similar role.
• Technical expertise in smart building controls, lighting, or BAS systems.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with construction trades.
• Strong organizational, financial management, and communication skills.
• Experience with product lines such as Tridium and Distech preferred.
