Ignition SCADA Engineer to join its growing automation and controls engineering team.

Position Details
- Title: Ignition SCADA Engineer
- Location: Columbia, MD
- Work Type: Hybrid (Remote Fridays + Earned Remote-Flex)
- Compensation: $100,000 – $185,000 (Mid-Level or Senior, based on experience)
- Bonus: Annual performance-based bonus
- Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and configure Ignition SCADA systems and related automation platforms
- Design and document Sequence of Operations (SOPs) and project schematics
- Program and test complex SCADA, EPMS, and automation applications
- Commission medium-voltage power systems including communication and control networks
- Perform site surveys, technical reviews, and scope validations with project stakeholders
- Support system integration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization during commissioning
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams across power, mechanical, and automation disciplines
Ideal Candidate
- Experience in SCADA, DCIM, EPMS, or BAS engineering environments
- Proficient with one or more technical platforms:
- EPMS: Eaton, Siemens, Yokogawa, EcoStruxure (Schneider Electric)
- SCADA: Ignition, Iconics
- DCIM: Nlyte
- PLC/HMI Programming: Rockwell RSLogix
- Protocols: Modbus, BACnet, LON, SNMP, etc.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, power monitoring, and controls logic
- Excellent documentation, communication, and project coordination skills
- Open to candidates without prior data center experience but with strong SCADA/controls background
