A leading full-service HVAC and building automation solutions provider is seeking an experienced
BAS Controls Technician to support projects throughout the Austin metropolitan area.
This role focuses on installation, start-up, commissioning, troubleshooting, and service of DDC building automation systems.

About the Role:
The BAS Installation Technician works as part of a field team responsible for installing, commissioning,
and servicing building automation systems. The role requires strong technical aptitude, clear communication,
and the ability to collaborate closely with contractors, building owners, and internal team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, start-up, and commission DDC/BAS control systems
- Troubleshoot building automation systems and identify root-cause issues
- Perform point-to-point checkout and commissioning activities
- Write BAS programs from scratch and work with existing program libraries
- Support installation teams with wiring, conduit bending, and equipment terminations
- Modify and optimize existing BAS programs to improve system performance
- Collaborate with mechanical contractors, GC's, and end users
- Maintain documentation and communicate system status effectively
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience as a BAS Controls Technician or similar role
- Strong troubleshooting skills for DDC/BAS systems
- Hands-on experience installing and testing building automation equipment
- Solid understanding of commissioning procedures and point-to-point verification
- Ability to write, modify, and interpret BAS control logic
- Tridium Niagara experience required; Siemens or Distech experience is a plus
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
