Pay: Competitive entry-level wage for the Fargo-Moorhead area; performance-based increases as you progress through your apprenticeship.

The Role
We are seeking an Apprentice Electrician to join our Fargo team. This is an "earn-while-you-learn" opportunity where you will assist in the installation and startup of sophisticated building automation systems (BAS) and HVAC controls. You will work under the direct supervision of a licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician while gaining the field hours necessary for your North Dakota licensure.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Installation: Assist in installing conduit (EMT), pulling wire, and mounting control devices, sensors, and actuators for HVAC and building systems.
System Support: Aid in the termination of low-voltage and communication circuits for integrated security and automation platforms.
Blueprint Reading: Learn to interpret architectural, mechanical, and electrical drawings to accurately execute project scopes.
Testing & Commissioning: Use electrical meters and diagnostic tools to verify proper voltage and system operation under supervision.
Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe work environment by following OSHA regulations, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Qualifications
Registration: Must be registered (or eligible to register) as an Apprentice Electrician with the North Dakota State Electrical Board.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required; progress toward a two-year technical degree in Electrical Technology or HVAC is a significant plus.
Aptitude: A strong desire to learn technical systems and a "can-do" attitude; we will train the right candidate on specialized platforms like Schneider Electric EcoStruxure.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work on ladders/lifts, and operate in active commercial construction environments.
