Inside Sales Account Manager – Walnut Creek, CA
$60,000+ Base Salary | $120,000 On-Track Earnings | Full Benefits + Uncapped Commission
We’re seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Inside Sales Account Manager to join a rapidly growing commercial security systems integrator in Walnut Creek, CA. This is a full-time, in-office role supporting inbound sales efforts, managing the sales pipeline, and building strong relationships with customers across California.
This is NOT a cold-calling position. You’ll manage inbound leads, close warm opportunities, and grow long-term client accounts in industries such as education, commercial real estate, and state/local government.
Position Details:
- Title: Inside Sales Account Manager
- Location: Walnut Creek, CA
- Schedule: Monday – Friday | 100% In-Office
- Base Salary: $60,000 – $80,000
- On-Track Earnings: $120,000+ (Uncapped)
Ideal Candidate:
- 2+ years in inside sales within the security, low voltage, or IT industries
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRMs
- Experience working with construction, SLED, or facilities leaders is a plus
- Knowledge of access control, cloud-based security, or CCTV systems preferred
- Comfortable managing 50+ follow-ups per day
- Driven, self-motivated, and team-oriented
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inbound sales inquiries and follow-ups
- Create and send quotes, manage vendor pricing, and track orders
- Support outside sales and project managers with administrative tasks
- Maintain detailed CRM records and stay up-to-date on product offerings
- Coordinate closely with internal team to ensure smooth project handoffs
- Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure project satisfaction
