About the Opportunity:
Radius Systems, a leader in customized building automation, lighting, and security solutions, is seeking a motivated Sales Engineer to join their growing team in Chadds Ford, PA. This role is perfect for an intermediate to senior-level sales professional with experience in controls systems, strong estimating skills, and a background in plan and spec bidding.
Position Details:

Ideal Candidate:
- 3–5+ years in Controls Sales, Estimating, or BAS industry roles
- Strong experience in project take-offs, estimation, and scope development
- Familiar with project bidding processes and RFI submissions
- Comfortable leading presentations and lunch-and-learns with internal teams
- Understanding of BAS technologies and integration strategies
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD or MS Visio is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage estimation, take-offs, and equipment requirements for proposals
- Develop scopes, bids, and RFIs for plan/spec and design-build projects
- Collaborate with engineering and internal teams to ensure proposal accuracy
- Engage with engineers, end users, and contractors to grow new business
- Support marketing and internal training efforts
- Maintain relationships with clients while identifying upsell opportunities

Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $60,000–$90,000 (DOE)
- Commission: Flat rate per sale – expected $30,000 annually
