Sr. BAS Controls Specialist – Central Coast, CA – $110K to $145K + OT + Vehicle + Relocation Bonus

About the Opportunity:

A Tier-1 nationally recognized leader in HVAC and Building Automation is seeking a Senior BAS Controls Specialist to support operations in the Central Coast of California (Santa Barbara, Pismo Beach, etc.). This is an opportunity to work in a highly collaborative and cutting-edge environment with projects spanning high-profile facilities.

Territory:

• Central Coast, CA – including Santa Barbara and Pismo Beach

Position:

• Title: Sr. BAS Controls Specialist
• Focus: Controls programming, integration, and commissioning

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $110,000 – $145,000 (Depending on Experience) + Overtime
• Vehicle: Company Vehicle or $750/month Car Allowance

Key Responsibilities:

• Program various BAS platforms (Distech, Tridium, Schneider, Delta, etc.)
• Create applications using both pre-packaged libraries and custom code
• Integrate third-party systems (BACnet, Modbus, LON, etc.)
• Design control algorithms and user-friendly front-end interfaces
• Configure alarms, trend logs, and control sequences
• Troubleshoot and commission mechanical and control systems
• Work independently to manage and execute projects
• Oversee field installation teams and coordinate with contractors
• Collaborate with IT departments and equipment vendors as needed

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Advanced knowledge of commercial BAS programming and integration
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and control sequences
• Experience working with multiple BAS platforms
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and client communication abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently
