BAS Controls Specialist (Mid & Sr. Level) – Atlanta, GA – $85K–$140K + Bonus – Data Center & Building Automation

A growing Data Center and Building Automation contractor is seeking a BAS Controls Specialist (Mid & Senior Level) in Atlanta, GA. This role is ideal for professionals with strong BAS commissioning and troubleshooting experience, with exposure to both Tridium/Niagara and other platforms. Position Details:

• Title: BAS Controls Specialist (Mid & Sr. Level)

• Compensation: $85K–$140K (DOE) + ~20% Bonus

Responsibilities:

• Commission and troubleshoot Tridium/Niagara controllers and sequences of operation.
• Service both open and proprietary building control systems.
• Perform point-to-point device checkout and system verification.
• Integrate communication protocols including Modbus, TCP/IP, and BACnet.
• Install DDC controllers, sensors, relays, and control panels.
• Build, wire, and test low-voltage control panels.
• Terminate and label low-voltage cabling accurately.
• Calibrate sensors and actuators for system accuracy.
• Commission systems and maintain daily test documentation.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience as a BAS Controls Specialist, Technician, or Engineer.
• Hands-on proficiency with Tridium/Niagara; other BAS platforms are also acceptable.
• Strong background in BAS commissioning and field troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of communication protocols (BACnet, Modbus, TCP/IP).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team on large projects.
