A premier mechanical and building automation contractor in the Pacific Northwest is seeking a Sr. Controls Project Manager to lead HVAC controls and energy projects from inception through completion. Position Details

• Title: Sr. Controls Project Manager
• Location: Seattle, WA
• Compensation: $130,000 – $170,000 + Discretionary Bonus
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Travel: To local project sites as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Lead HVAC controls and energy-related projects from scoping and estimation through commissioning and closeout
• Oversee all phases of project management, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Drive financial forecasting, resource allocation, and profitability tracking across assigned projects
• Collaborate with clients, engineers, technicians, and subcontractors to deliver high-quality results
• Develop detailed scopes of work, estimates, and project pricing
• Review and manage submittals, specifications, and design documents for technical accuracy
• Coordinate field activities, issue change orders, and maintain project schedules
• Support sales and business development efforts by participating in client meetings and proposals
• Ensure safety compliance and uphold company quality standards throughout project execution

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience as a Controls Project Manager or similar building automation leadership role
• Strong background in building controls, HVAC systems, or energy performance projects
• Ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and drive financial results
• Proficiency in project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and closeout packages
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Siemens, Honeywell, or Tridium platforms is a plus
