Position Details

• Title: BAS Controls Specialist
• Location: Richmond, VA
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Compensation: $35.00 – $50.00/hr (Based on Experience)
• Overtime: Available + Drive Time Pay
• Preferred Experience: Tridium Niagara or similar BAS platforms

Key Responsibilities

• Commission, calibrate, and troubleshoot Building Automation (BAS/DDC) systems
• Integrate and configure communication networks using BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks
• Interpret control drawings, schematics, and sequences of operation
• Install and configure field devices such as sensors, relays, and actuators
• Conduct point-to-point verification and system functional testing
• Participate in client walkthroughs and support system startups
• Maintain accurate daily reports, documentation, and project records
• Provide on-site and remote customer support, ensuring quality and performance standards are met

Ideal Candidate

• 2+ years of experience with BAS or HVAC controls systems
• Solid understanding of control sequences, HVAC operations, and field wiring
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
• Strong troubleshooting and calibration skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
