A well-established HVAC, controls, and data center solutions organization is seeking an experienced BAS Controls Specialist to support a stationary role at a mission-critical data center environment in Ashburn, VA.

Position Overview

The BAS Controls Specialist will support commissioning, troubleshooting, and service of building automation systems within a data center environment. This role focuses on system reliability, controls optimization, and hands-on technical execution across BAS and DCIM-related systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Commission and troubleshoot BAS controllers and rewrite control sequences
• Service open and proprietary building automation and control systems
• Perform point-to-point device checkout and verification
• Integrate communication protocols including Modbus, TCP/IP, and BACnet
• Install DDC controllers, sensors, relays, and control panels
• Build and wire low-voltage control panels
• Terminate and label low-voltage cabling accurately
• Calibrate sensors and actuators to ensure system accuracy
• Commission systems and document daily testing and results

Ideal Candidate

• Strong background in BAS controls commissioning and troubleshooting
• Experience working with building automation systems in mission-critical or data center environments preferred
• Comfortable servicing both open and proprietary BAS platforms
• Working knowledge of low-voltage controls, networking, and field devices
• Strong documentation and communication skills

Compensation & Benefits

• Total compensation range: $145,000 – $195,000
• Base salary range: $120,000 – $140,000
• Annual living stipend (~$18,000)
• Estimated bonus incentives of 20%–25%
