Location: Hartford, CT (Field-based role supporting projects throughout Connecticut)
Pay Range: $30.00 – $38.00/hour (flexible, based on experience)

Controls Service Technician to support a growing portfolio of projects throughout Connecticut.

Position Summary
The Controls Service Technician will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and commissioning
support for building automation systems. This role is highly customer-facing and requires strong technical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, test, service, and maintain building automation and environmental control systems
- Troubleshoot and modify existing BAS programs in active facilities
- Rewrite programming sequences and utilize pre-packaged control libraries
- Support commissioning activities, including point-to-point checkout and functional testing
- Assist with startup, termination, and integration of control systems and equipment
- Support front-end server setup, configuration, and software downloads
- Communicate effectively with building owners, end users, and general contractors
- Travel throughout Connecticut to support customer sites
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through on-site service and support
Ideal Candidate
- 2–5+ years of experience as a Controls Technician, BAS Service Technician, or similar role
- Experience with Alerton systems strongly preferred
- Familiarity servicing Honeywell systems is a plus
- Strong communication skills and customer-focused mindset
- Comfortable working independently in the field and collaborating with internal teams
- Non-union environment
Compensation, Bonus & Overtime
- Hourly pay range: $30.00 – $38.00 (dependent on experience)
- Overtime available, primarily May through September during peak summer work at schools
- Annual bonus potential of $5,000 – $10,000
