Key Responsibilities
- Design, program, and manage Building Automation Systems (BAS)
- Lead BAS projects from concept to commissioning, including field support and installation oversight
- Work directly with clients to assess needs, provide technical support, and manage expectations
- Create sequence of operations, bill of materials, and project submittals
- Perform AutoCAD-based system layout and controls schematics
- Interpret mechanical and electrical drawings, plans, and contract documents
- Develop solutions for energy optimization using Tridium/Niagara and other controls
- Support pre-sales, post-sales, and troubleshooting activities
Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience as a Controls Engineer or in a similar automation role
- Required: Experience with Tridium/Niagara systems
- Experience with Distech, Reliable, or other open-platform systems a plus
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Experience developing and programming automation systems using predefined libraries
- Ability to travel (approx. 20%) to client sites for commissioning, walkthroughs, and support
