We’re seeking a skilled BAS Technician for an exciting opportunity with a top-tier mechanical and controls company serving the greater Philadelphia area. With 75+ years of experience in the industry, this organization is a recognized leader in delivering innovative building automation and energy solutions across critical sectors like healthcare, federal, and commercial infrastructure.

Position Details:

• Title: BAS Technician
• Location: Philadelphia, PA
• Status: Full-Time | In-Field & In-Office
• Travel: Local (Philadelphia-based projects)

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience as a BAS Technician or similar role
• Niagara N4 certification or equivalent hands-on experience required
• Familiarity with JCI, Honeywell, or Trane systems
• Degree in Mechanical or Energy Engineering preferred (or equivalent technical training and experience)
• Strong understanding of building automation system architecture and mechanical systems
• Ability to write and modify BAS programming logic
• Proficiency with I/T networks and networked system integration
• Excellent communication, documentation, and troubleshooting skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and service building automation systems across various platforms
• Commission new BAS systems including start-up, testing, and point-to-point checkouts
• Modify sequences and perform software/hardware updates as needed
• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and respond to emergency service calls
• Collaborate with engineering and project management teams for smooth project execution
• Assist with system integration across multiple platforms
• Maintain strong client communication and ensure high-quality service delivery
