About the Opportunity:

A highly regarded fire life safety and security integrator is seeking an experienced Fire/Safety Testing Lead Technician to join their growing team in Orange County. This position is ideal for a technician who is confident leading fire alarm system testing projects and has deep knowledge of NFPA codes, safety protocols, and field documentation. You'll work across healthcare, commercial, industrial, education, and other essential facilities.

Position Details:

• Title: Fire/Safety Testing Lead Technician
• Location: Tustin, CA (Orange County Territory)
• Status: Full-Time | Field-Based

Ideal Candidate:

• Prior experience as a Fire Testing Lead Technician or similar role
• Skilled in testing and servicing fire alarm systems to NFPA standards
• Ability to lead technicians and coordinate with subcontractors on-site
• Experience programming fire alarm systems and updating documentation
• Familiarity with product lines such as Silent Knight, Fire-Lite, and Edwards EST3
• Excellent communicator, comfortable working with clients and providing solutions

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the testing and cleaning of fire life safety systems at customer facilities
• Supervise technicians and coordinate with facilities staff and subcontractors
• Perform inspections and testing in accordance with NFPA and jurisdictional codes
• Troubleshoot system errors and perform programming adjustments when needed
• Label devices, monitor fire panels, and update service tickets
• Provide detailed documentation on system performance, repairs, and testing

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $30.00–$38.00/hr. (Based on Experience)
