About the Opportunity:

A leading Data Center and Building Automation contractor is seeking a BAS Controls Construction Manager to support projects throughout New Jersey. This role will oversee BAS construction and retrofit projects for mission-critical and commercial facilities. Position Details:

• Title: BAS Controls Construction Manager
• Location: New Jersey (various throughout)
• Compensation: $110K–$160K (DOE) + ~20% Bonus

Responsibilities:

• Lead BAS retrofit and integration projects in mission-critical environments.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and subcontractor coordination.
• Ensure safe construction practices and compliance with industry standards.
• Oversee BMS controls, HVAC, and facility upgrades.
• Review and interpret drawings, schematics, and construction documents.
• Coordinate installations with engineers, vendors, and project stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot field issues and resolve construction challenges.
• Deliver projects on time and in line with client requirements.

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience managing BAS construction or integration projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of building automation and HVAC systems.
• Ability to lead teams and coordinate subcontractors effectively.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience in mission-critical or data center environments is a plus.
