A leading Data Center and Building Automation contractor is seeking a Service Manager (BAS Controls) to oversee operations across New Jersey. This role is responsible for managing the BAS service team, supporting clients across mission-critical and commercial projects. Position Details:

• Title: Service Manager (BAS Controls)
• Location: New Jersey (various throughout)
• Compensation: $100K–$165K (DOE) + ~20% Bonus

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations for the BAS field service team.
• Coordinate with clients and project managers for service resolution.
• Schedule and assign technicians to maximize efficiency and expertise.
• Track service calls, maintain dispatch records, and manage reporting.
• Act as the lead contact for escalated service issues.
• Hire, mentor, and develop field technicians to support service growth.
• Implement standard operating procedures to streamline field operations.
• Support BAS system startup, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Troubleshoot at the field controller and network level.
• Modify wire sheet logic and update system programming as required.
• Document commissioning steps and validate sequence logic.
• Train end users on BAS system operation and maintenance.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience managing BAS or HVAC service operations.
• Strong technical knowledge of BAS programming and integration.
• Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and grow a service team.
• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
• Experience with mission-critical or data center projects is a plus.
