BAS Controls Technician – Madison, WI

$70,000 – $85,000 + EOY Bonus + Excellent Benefits

A leading building automation systems provider is seeking a skilled BAS Controls Technician to join their Madison-based team. This opportunity is ideal for a technician who thrives in a collaborative environment and has hands-on experience with BAS systems, startups, and troubleshooting.

Position Details:

• Title: BAS Controls Technician
• Location: Madison, WI (local territory only)
• Status: Full-Time | Overtime Eligible
• Travel: Minimal (no overnight travel expected)

Ideal Candidate:

• 3–5+ years of experience in a controls technician or similar role
• Hands-on with BAS platforms: Distech, Allerton, LynxSpring, KMC, Phoenix Controls (any combination)
• Tridium N4 certification is a plus but not required
• Capable of point-to-point checkout and control systems commissioning
• Experience with rewriting control sequences and field troubleshooting
• Strong communication with clients, contractors, and field teams
• Team-oriented with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, start up, and commission building automation systems
• Troubleshoot and diagnose field issues with controls systems
• Modify, rewrite, and optimize BAS programs as needed
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure system performance
• Ensure compliance with commissioning protocols and quality standards
• Communicate regularly with building owners and general contractors

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $70,000 – $85,000 (based on experience)
