A well-established building automation and mechanical systems contractor is seeking a Controls Project Manager to support its Denver, CO operations. This role is ideal for an experienced automation-focused project manager who thrives in field coordination, financial forecasting, and managing fast-paced retrofit and construction projects.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage controls projects from design through closeout
- Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
- Create BAS system architectures and design guidelines
- Forecast financials and manage project scopes effectively
- Coordinate subcontractors, internal coordinators, and field labor
- Conduct regular site visits and monitor job progress
- Ensure accurate equipment procurement and timely delivery
- Review contract documentation for scope alignment
- Organize and direct field technicians and crews
- Generate RFIs, change orders, and close-out documentation
Ideal Candidate:
- Prior experience as a Controls Project Manager or similar role
- Strong understanding of BAS system design and installation
- Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication and leadership skills
- Hands-on approach and field-oriented management style
