A well-established mechanical and automation contractor in the Greater Los Angeles area is seeking a BAS Project Engineer to support its growing operations. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in Building Automation Systems (BAS), particularly those who have worked beyond standard VAV commissioning.

• Title: BAS Project Engineer
• Location: San Dimas, CA (Project-based travel in LA metro)
• Status: Full-Time / On-Site / Union (Local 105)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and track project milestones and tasks
• Support the Project Management team with daily coordination and execution
• Prepare and process RFIs and Change Orders
• Review and interpret contract drawings
• Maintain submittal documentation and track updates accurately
• Interface with clients and ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle
• Contribute to installation planning and technical execution of BAS projects

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience as a BAS Project Engineer or similar engineering role
• Familiarity with Honeywell or Schneider Controls – preferred
• Comfortable working with field teams, drawings, and control documents
• Union experience – Local 105 or willingness to join
• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Base Salary: $90,000 (Depending on Experience)
