We’re seeking an experienced Controls Service Technician to join a well-established building automation systems (BAS) team based in the Charleston, SC area. This role is perfect for a skilled technician with hands-on experience in HVAC or electrical controls who’s ready to grow within a company that delivers top-tier services across the Carolinas.

Position Details:

• Title: Controls Service Technician
• Location: Charleston, SC
• Status: Full-Time | Field-Based

Ideal Candidate:

• High School Diploma required; 2-year technical degree or BS in a related technical field preferred
• 3+ years of experience in HVAC or electrical controls (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Pass background check and drug screening (initial & random)
• Physically able to work on lifts, scaffolding, and travel throughout SC
• Moderate to exceptional computer proficiency
• Professional appearance and strong interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on BAS and HVAC systems
• Troubleshoot, repair, or replace faulty system components
• Conduct system diagnostics and verify operational performance
• Monitor building automation systems remotely
• Assist with commissioning and startup of control systems
• Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate part purchases and upgrades
• Train end-users on system operations and maintenance
• Propose system enhancements and service options to clients
• Document and submit service reports and work orders

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $30.00 – $40.00/hour (DOE)
• Overtime: Eligible
