BAS Project Manager – Long Island, NY – $100,000–$125,000 + Commission

About the Opportunity:

An established building automation contractor serving the New York metro area is seeking an experienced BAS Project Manager to lead automation projects across the five boroughs. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned project leader to join a growing firm offering strong benefits and long-term stability.

Position Overview:

• Title: BAS Project Manager
• Location: Deer Park, NY / Long Island
• Territory: Greater NYC – 5 Boroughs
• Status: Full-Time / In-Office

Ideal Candidate:

• 5–10+ years in project management of Building Automation/DDC projects
• Experience with Delta Controls – preferred
• Knowledge of Visio – preferred
• Background with JCI, Honeywell, Siemens, or Automated Logic – a plus
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage BAS projects from design through commissioning and closeout
• Oversee project scope, schedule, and budget while coordinating with internal teams
• Conduct site walkthroughs and manage change orders and parts procurement
• Create and maintain detailed project documentation and updates
• Manage multiple field crews and subcontractors across concurrent jobs
• Perform QA/QC field inspections and support system commissioning
• Lead RFIs, pre-bid meetings, turnover discussions, and closeout efforts
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and equipment
• Support the sales team during project handoff and pre-book reviews

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Salary: $100,000–$125,000 (Depending on Experience)
